LUMIERE CHARITY HAS RECEIVED REPORT THAT A DRONE HAS BEEN USED TO DELIVER PREGNANCY-TERMINATING DRUGS FROM ONE COUNTRY TO ANOTHER, ALLEGED NEWS. Women On Waves, along with other groups, have used a drone to fly mifepristone and misoprostol across a river from Germany to Poland, where they were used by two women to terminate unwanted pregnancies, alleged news.
The women who participated in the drone exercise were prescribed the abortifacients by doctors over the telephone and Skype, according to the group; alleged news. [1]
Near Misses with Drones
There have been reports of aircrafts experiencing near misses with drones.
One such example is the near miss when an unidentified drone came close to hitting a plane as it landed at Heathrow, Alleged News.
The Civil Aviation Authority [CAA] have given the incident an 'A' rating, meaning a 'serious risk of collision.'
This is the highest incident rating the CAA can give. [2]
Examples of other near misses
In March 2014, a drone almost hit an airliner over Florida the FAA reported, Alleged News. [3]
A Lufthansa flight had a near miss with a drone in July 2015 near Warsaw in Poland, Alleged News [4] & [5].
Near misses with drones have been reported in Scotland [6].
Safety
According to the quantifiable evidence, the operation of drones from Germany to Poland - as elsewhere - may pose a risk to health and safety in air space.
