BREAKING NEWS; ELECTION FEVER HITS THE STREETS IN IRELAND; WHICH CANDIDATES ARE PRO-LIFE ON THE 8TH AMENDMENT?

BREAKING NEWS IRELAND; ELECTION FEVER HAS HIT THE STREETS. WORD ON THE STREET IS THAT THOSE WHO HAVE SIGNED THE PLEDGE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN THEIR PROMISE.
Distress and horror at abortion legislation has continued to grow. More than 100,000 people vowed never to support abortion. More than 100,000 people signed the Pro-Life Pledge. [1]

THE PLEDGE READS;
'If Fine Gael legalises abortion, and breaks the pro-life promise it made in Election 2011, I pledge the party will never get my vote again.
Legislating for X and including suicide as a grounds for abortion, will allow the direct and intentional killing of unborn children, throughout all nine months of pregnancy, for the first time in Ireland, and will open the door to abortion on demand.

Instead the government must respect the pro life majority, and protect the lives of both mother and baby.' [2]

SUFFERING OF BABY HOPE
The horror of the new Irish law on abortion led to scenes in Ireland's streets where assemblies gathered to support Baby Hope, who lay suffering in an incubator as a direct result of the new law on abortion.

The consequences of the abortion law deeply distressed the people of Ireland.
A tiny scrap of humanity was forcibly delivered under the Protection of Life Pregnancy Act 2013.
This little baby was named Baby Hope by the people of Ireland.
This little citizen was left struggling for life in intensive care [3]

GENERAL ELECTION
A general election has been called in Ireland and the vote will be held on 26th February 2016.
In advance of polling day, positions are being set out on the retention or repeal of the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution, which provides the last remaining constitutional protection for unborn babies in Irish law. [4]

PRO-LIFE CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS INUNDATED
Pro-life voters have been inundating the Headquarters of the Pro-Life Campaign in an effort to determine which candidate in their area is most likely to ensure that unborn children continue to receive this constitutional protection under the law. [4]

In order to assist them, the Pro Life Campaign has launched a new election video and site providing information to voters in the run-up to polling day.

The massive rallies and protests which brought Dublin and various parts of the country to a halt at various times over the last few years are an indication on public awareness re the plight of their unborn Irish citizens in regard to abortion law and the 8th Amendment.

Pro-life supporters in Ireland are discerning candidates who have proven track record as pro-life. It is considered that the last party broke their pro-life promise to voters in 2013. This unimaginable having happened, pro-life voters are equipped to discern how to cast their vote in this general election.

THE KEY; DISCERNMENT AND PROVEN TRACK RECORD
The word on the street is that voters are prepared to vote for candidates who show proven track record as pro-life. To this end, information is currently being compiled and posted on the website of the Pro Life Campaign so that voters will have accurate and detailed information before Election Day on the positions of the various election candidates.
